Author's Dedication

To every person of conscience, to every person of authority, and to every patient and victim of sorcery—I dedicate these images, which vividly portray the depth of suffering and the tragedy that has spread throughout the Muslim lands, aided by the malicious and the sorcerers.

This dedication carries a meaningful value—it is a responsibility upon the shoulders of all who read my message, especially those among them who have the power to stop sorcery and restrain the hands of the sorcerers. Let them repay the kindness of this dedication with a noble gesture: to present every victim of sorcery—male or female—with the gift of recognition, rejection of this evil, and efforts to rescue the thousands who are falling one after another into the hell of sorcery.

And following this, a dedication to those who suffer from the pain of sorcery—by describing their condition and their tragedy to those who do not believe what they say or understand what they endure in their lives, their sleep, their wakefulness, and their daily struggles, including the harm caused by sorcerers and the oppression of devils.

Perhaps those who read and learn of their situation will feel compassion and pray for them.

May Allah grant you all healing.

Author's Introduction

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. There is no enmity except against the wrongdoers. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah—the Sovereign, the Clear Truth. And I bear witness that our Leader Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the best of messengers.

Now to the matter at hand:

This is a visual message I share, intending good for myself and for everyone who views it—whether healthy or ill. Within it are images that speak and describe the real suffering experienced by thousands of Muslims in our beloved country and across the Muslim world.

The spread of sorcery has gradually increased due to the influx of foreigners and the influence of sorcery-promoting media channels that constantly pour their poison, day and night, into hearts that were once upon monotheism—hearts that have since changed and strayed for the sake of a fleeting world, temporary pleasures, false desires, and broken hopes.

Some have even gone so far as to perform sorcery on relatives, bosses, coworkers—even men using it against women to lead them into fornication and immorality, and women doing the same to men to trap them for money or status. Others cast sorcery on spouses—without the slightest regard for the gravity of this matter: that it is disbelief (kufr) and polytheism (shirk), and its practitioner is destined for the Hellfire.

Therefore, I urge everyone who utters the testimony “La ilaha illallah (There is no God but Allah)” to awaken from their slumber and heedlessness—roll up their sleeves, speak out, write with clarity, and use their authority and influence to combat the scourge of sorcery that has harmed so many Muslims. Let them warn against it in every gathering, and dispel doubts with clear evidence and conclusive arguments—especially for those who deny sorcery and its effects, or who disguise it with other names.

Some call it sleight of hand, others label it an art or optical illusion, and some even claim it is permissible—all of these statements come only from those who have not learned true tawhid (monotheism), and who are ignorant of the reality of sorcery as mentioned by Allah in His Book, described by the Prophet (peace be upon him), understood by the Companions and their followers, and ruled upon by the scholars of Islam.

These images, and others like them, have been presented as a lesson to every sorcerer—that Allah does not grant success to the work of the corrupt. And to every patient whose illness has lasted long—to remind them that Allah alone is the Healer, and that the treatment of sorcery lies in the Quran and proper, lawful means, not by going to sorcerers to break sorcery with more sorcery. That is forbidden and impermissible, and those who permit it are mistaken.

I ask Allah to remove the sorcery afflicting every victim.

Chapter 1: Broken Chain and Stone Emerge from a Girl

A young girl at the prime of her youth complained of abdominal pain and resorted to ruqyah sharʿiyyah. It was revealed that she was afflicted by strong sorcery carried out by powerful rebellious jinn (maraddah). She fought a fierce battle, relying on Allah and frequently reciting Surah al-Baqarah—reading it seven times a day. She would also be deeply affected during ruqyah sessions by verses that mentioned chains, such as “Then in a chain whose length is seventy cubits, bind him (69:32)” and “When the shackles are on their necks and the chains; they will be dragged (40:71)” and the like.

She would feel something tearing inside her, followed by nausea and the urge to vomit. What would come out included items like a broken chain and a stone resembling volcanic rock. The image shows part of what emerged over the course of four months of treatment.

She would also see true dreams in which she was told she would be healed, and she would see visions of what was being expelled and what remained inside her stomach—until Allah granted her full recovery. All praise and thanks be to Allah.

Chapter 2: Dolls by the Sea

How many blessings has Allah bestowed upon His servants! To everyone afflicted with sorcery who has lost hope in healing and grown weary from trying various treatments and means... To everyone who believes in Allah’s closeness and His eventual victory, even if delayed... I share this story, asking Allah to grant steadfastness to every afflicted and tested soul, and to bless them with patience and good thoughts of their Creator. Look closely and carefully at the image—then read its astonishing story.

On the 30th of Ramadan in the year 1421 AH, after a late afternoon class at the mosque, one of the neighbouring residents came to me, offering greetings and bringing astonishing news.

He said, “Sheikh Khalid, last night my family and I went to the sea to break our fast on the shore, bidding farewell to Ramadan, thinking it would be the final night. Shortly before sunset, my children came running to me, carrying something and calling out excitedly. One of them said, ‘Father, we were playing in the sand and digging when we found this thing that looks like a doll—like the ones children play with.’

He continued, ‘As soon as I saw it and looked closely, I realised it was sihr madfun (buried magic). Without delay, I joined them at the spot where they found it, and we began digging in that area, with apprehension and supplicating. Then one of my younger sons said, ‘I found another doll!’ I told them, ‘Keep searching,’ and just moments later we found a third one. But we didn’t stop there—we continued searching and digging until we had created a large pit in that area, ensuring there was nothing else left.’”

I interrupted him and asked, “Where are these dolls now? What did you do with them?”

He replied, “They’re at my house.”

I said earnestly, “Go and bring them to me—quickly.”

He went, and only a few minutes later, I found myself holding the very figurines you now see before me, in my hands.

A moment of shock overcame everyone present. A lump rose in my throat as I tried to hold back tears—because I was holding sorcery in my hands—buried magic—the kind guarded by devils.

It consisted of figurines made of wax, with tin foil inside. On each figurine, there was a picture of a woman, and needles had been stuck into the eyes on some, and into the head (two needles), hands, feet, and private areas on all of them. A paper had been placed on each figurine, containing written incantations and symbols, and threads were tied from the head to the feet—covering the whole body.

I was deeply affected as I looked again and again, reflecting on the vast mercy of Allah toward His servants, and contemplating my own weakness and helplessness—for truly, the created being has no power or strength except through Allah.

I look and think to myself—the last day and night of Ramadan... just before sunset... and tomorrow is Eid... a joyous Eid... a day when people celebrate and happiness descends upon them.

But Allah—Glorified and Exalted is He—willed to bestow healing upon this poor woman on the night of Eid.

Allah, the Most High, wanted to teach us all a lesson: that He made a small child the means by which the guarded, buried sihr (magic) was uncovered.

Glory be to the One who causes all things to happen.

Perhaps the afflicted woman prayed sincerely, or perhaps someone prayed for her in secret—so Allah directed that child to unearth the sihr from its place, and decreed that it be brought to us, rather than falling into the hands of a charlatan or sorcerer.

Allah wants to teach us not to attach our hearts to anyone but Him—not to attach our hearts to a raqi (ruqyah practitioner), thinking that healing is in his hands or that he holds the power to help. We must learn that the raqi is merely a means, one of the lawful ways of seeking treatment.

And to teach many—whose tawhid (faith) has weakened, whose patience has worn thin, whose despair has shown—have taken destructive fatwas and turned to sorcerers to undo the magic affecting them. But the truth is: The entire matter belongs to Allah alone.

O Allah, destroy all the sorcerers and nullify their spells—wherever they are and however they may be. You are indeed capable of all things.

Chapter 3: Magic-Infused Magnetic Ring

This is the story of a magic-infused ring made from magnetic stone, engraved with occult inscriptions and symbols, as can be seen.

The ring had been hidden by a person whose relative suffered harm because of it—he was prevented from working and his livelihood was affected. Then one day, driven by determination, that relative began searching until he eventually discovered the ring and brought it to us.

It was made of magnetic stone, which naturally attracts iron, and is known to be of significance and use to sorcerers.

As soon as the original owner of the ring realised it was missing, he went mad with rage, searching frantically in all directions until he approached our friend and asked, “Did you find anything around here?”—but he received no reply, only a look of silent reproach.

Some time later, news came out that the ring had been deliberately placed in the house to stop the man from working.

Praise and thanks be to Allah, he was able to return to work after that long disruption.

Chapter 4: Magic-Infused Belt

How astonishing it is to see such things, filled with numerous charms and talismans. What’s even more surprising is that they belong to educated individuals who hold respectable positions in society—people no one would suspect of resorting to such things in their lives.

This consists of 22 tightly connected and interlinked talismans, all sewn together into a piece of cloth shaped like a belt, designed to be worn and tied around the waist. These talismans were made ‘for everything and against everything,’ as they claim. Attached to it is a piece of leather, which upon investigation appears to be hyena skin. This talisman belonged to a man who aspired to attain everything the soul desires—love, leadership, and status—but through sorcery and superstition, not through righteousness, drawing near to Allah, or sincere supplication.

The tragic result was that this talisman—along with other rings and occult scripts—became the cause of his illness and eventual physical debilitation. We ask Allah for safety from polytheism, its people, its paths, and its outcomes—both in this world and the Hereafter.

Chapter 5: Buried Magic

This is an image of buried sihr (magic) discovered by a female patient who had been regularly coming to us for ruqyah. After a considerable period of time and thorough searching, the woman finally found the magic buried near her house. It consisted of a fish, razor blades, a knife blade, and a condom—all buried at the entrance of the house.
